At our site there is a press release with the title American Pet Owners Can Sue in Canada-Better Chance of Justice. Most stste lawss in the US regard a pet as a piece of property. In Ontario Canada a pet owner can receive damages for emotional trauma when a companion animal is hurt or killed. It is a tiny positive in this horrible scandal. There is a link to the lawsute site from PETitionz.org as well.
