“Yoga Kitty” by Peter Organa.
Peter has a real talent for capturing the personality of his subject. Not surprisingly, he’s a professional pet photographer in Toronto. You can see more of his work on flickr.com under “piotr m”. These are a few more of my favorites.

The Brake-Fast Dog Bowl is an interesting idea. It’s designed to avoid bloat by slowing your dog’s food consumption. This is how it works.
You can read about some other alternatives—the Tricky Treat Ball and the Twist ‘n Treat.
Update: Now available in metal.

Ziggy the cat survived a seventeen days trapped inside a cargo container. It is believed he is someone’s pet because of how friendly he is. A very lucky cat.

General.
After learning that many seniors were feeding portions of their Meals On Wheels meals to their pets, Meals On Wheels Association of America started a new program to also bring pet food for their clients’ pets. Meals On Wheels has teamed with Banfield Pet Hospitals to start a national program—Seasons of Suppers—to collect and distribute donations. Meals On Wheels also created public service announcements that help clarify the need. You can donate at Banfield Pet Hospitals and online at Meals On Wheels (you can specify if you want your donation to go to the pet program).
