I haven’t done a post on nifty Etsy things in ages. I love Spring and there are some pretty fun Spring/Easter things for cats on Etsy right now. (I’ve included a few bunnies for people too.)

Lord love a duck—these hats just about did me in! I’m not a huge proponent of dressing up animals, but I understand the appeal. Don’t tell anyone, but Saffron does have several hats & festive headbands that we’ve put on her long enough to get a photo. However, the extreme cuteness of these hats made by “talk2thetrees” on Etsy could make me a dog hat devotee. (thanks, Holly!)
I love the description too:
Do your dog’s ears get a little cold? Is your pup ashamed of his ears? Does your dog need something to boost his confidence and make him feel like a sly fox?
How cute are these? Qift Design makes these acrylic rings you can layer to create your own scene. There are pups and kitties plus vignette rings.
I love this! Taryn Zychal had the great idea to take sad, broken umbrellas and transform them into cute raincoats for dogs. She has an etsy shop where you can get a coat for your dog big or small. Kitties aren’t left out because she even makes cat toys from umbrella scraps. Taryn was a finalist for the prestigious Cooper Hewitt People’s Design Award. She was also asked to make a couple of her coats for Martha Stewart’s French Bulldogs, Francesca and Sharky. Nifty!
I love this version of a pet bed made from a suitcase! The fun, green claw feet are inspired. And you can get two beds out of one suitcase. Don’t miss the tutorial for the Suitcase Pet Bed in the DIY Pet Bed Round-Up.
These are from Vintage Renaissance on Etsy. They don’t have any in stock right now, but it looks like they have them fairly often. Here are some of my favorites:
