In Alaska, a black bear snatched up Fudge the dachshund, but before he could run off with the dog, Fudge’s owner punched the bear in the face. The bear ran off and Fudge wasn’t seriously injured. Biologists think bear encounters are up in Juneau because the berry crops this year are poor. Lucky dog!
